Reminder that we have the first pre-season L1 Referee course coming up on Sunday Oct 5.   

Referees are a vital part of our rugby ecosystem and we always need more!  HS or College aged players can earn a bit of money, retired players can give back to the game, there's center referee and assistant referee roles, there's an opportunity for everyone!  You only need to commit to what your schedule allows.

The course is available to register online thru your RugbyXplorer account.  (You also need to register the role of referee for the upcoming season as part of becoming a ref) .

To register for a course, log in to your Rugby Xplorer account, click on Learning Center in the left menu, navigate to Course Catalog, select Level 1 Referee Course. 

Scroll down to find the Tempe AZ location course (it will have the ASU SDFC address in Tempe), add to Cart and purchase (costs $85 to USAR).

Location of class - ASU Fitness Center - 400 E Apache Blvd, Tempe, AZ 85287. 

There's also some online pre-work with some World Rugby learning modules, this is only about 4-6 hrs of work, plan to get it done before the in-person course.

Existing refs that want a refresher are always welcome to sit in on the class (no charge), just let me know if you're planning to attend please.
